Great experience working with this team. They completed the development work quickly and efficiently without wasting time. Communication was clear and consistent, they understood the requirements well, gave smart suggestions, and delivered exactly as discussed. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, fast, and skilled app development team.
Cloud Migration Services
Cloud migration is the process of moving your apps and data to the cloud, or between clouds, with minimal downtime and a focus on security, cost, and reliability. A good migration is planned in stages with rollback at every step, so the move is boring, which is exactly what you want.
A cloud migration goes wrong in one of two ways: downtime that hits customers, or a bill that doubles after the move. Both come from rushing. Done properly, migration is methodical, reversible, and quiet. This page is how we approach it.
Part of our cloud and DevOps services →Our Migration Approach
We have run migrations across AWS, GCP, and Azure since 2016, and we are platform-neutral, so the recommendation you get is based on your workloads, not a partnership we are trying to hit a quota on.
Assess
Map your apps, data, and dependencies, and find the risks before we touch anything.
Plan
Choose the right pattern per workload and design cutover with rollback.
Move
Migrate in stages, verifying each one, so nothing is a big-bang gamble.
Optimize
Tune cost and performance after the move, where most savings actually are.
Migration Patterns, in Plain Terms
There is no single right way to migrate. We pick the pattern per workload, not one approach for everything, because the goal is the lowest-risk path for each part of your system.
Lift and Shift
Move the application to the cloud as-is, with no changes. It is the fastest option and the least disruptive, which makes it right for a hard deadline or a data-center exit. The trade-off is that you inherit any inefficiency, so cloud savings stay on the table until you optimize later. Often the sensible first step, with tuning to follow.
Re-platform
Small, targeted changes to gain real cloud benefits without a rewrite: a managed database instead of a self-hosted one, autoscaling, or a managed queue. You get meaningful reliability and cost wins for modest effort. This is the middle path most workloads land on.
Re-architect
Rebuild parts of the system for the cloud, for example breaking a monolith into services or going serverless. It is the most work and the most reward, and it only makes sense when the payoff, in scale, cost, or resilience, clearly justifies the effort. We recommend it selectively, not by default.
Avoiding Downtime and Surprise Bills
A migration goes wrong in one of two ways: downtime that hits customers, or a bill that doubles after the move. Both come from rushing, and both are avoidable with a staged plan. Here is how we protect against each.
01. Staged Cutovers
We move in phases and verify each one before the next, so nothing is a big-bang gamble. Zero-downtime is often achievable this way, and where a brief window is unavoidable, we schedule and communicate it so no customer is surprised.
02. Rollback at Every Step
Each phase has a tested way back. If something looks wrong, we reverse it cleanly instead of pushing forward and hoping. This is what makes a migration boring, in the best sense.
03. Right-Sizing During the Move
The bill doubles when you migrate inefficiently and pay for oversized resources every month forever. We tune compute, storage, and scaling during the optimize phase, which is where a good migration pays for itself.
04. Cost Visibility Before You Commit
We map expected cloud spend up front, so the monthly number is a decision you make on purpose, not a shock on the first invoice.
05. No Lock-In
You own the infrastructure and the configuration. If you ever change direction, nothing is trapped with us.

What Clients Say
In their own words, Mobilions' clients describe fast delivery, clear communication, and senior, trustworthy engineering.
We worked with Ankit, Mayur, and Tushar to build the first version of Baba Hebrew for iOS and Android, and they delivered super fast. The team was responsive, reliable, and efficient, taking the idea from zero to a working app in record time. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to get an MVP live quickly.
Tushar and Ankit did an outstanding job developing our native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps. They were efficient, responsive, and technically strong throughout. Thanks to their work, we launched successfully and gained over 1,000 users in the first 30 days. Highly recommend this team for quality mobile app development.
It was a wonderful experience working with Tushar, Ankit, and their team. They built a great mobile app for me and truly brought my vision to life. What stood out was not just their technical skill but their attitude: always positive, solution-oriented, and incredibly patient. They went above and beyond at every step, finding creative workarounds and staying committed even when things got challenging. Extremely professional and trustworthy. I would absolutely hire them again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers to the questions teams ask before they move to the cloud.
They plan and execute the move of your apps and data to the cloud, or between clouds, with minimal downtime and a focus on security, cost, and reliability.
From a few weeks for a simple lift-and-shift to several months for a complex, multi-system migration. We assess first and give you a realistic plan.
It depends on your workloads, budget, and team skills. We are platform-neutral and recommend based on your needs, not a partnership.
Often none. We use staged cutovers and rollback plans, and where brief downtime is unavoidable we schedule and communicate it in advance.
It varies with the size and complexity of what you are moving. The bigger long-term number is your monthly cloud spend, which we right-size during the migration.
Moving an application to the cloud as-is, with no changes. It is the fastest option but leaves cloud savings on the table until you optimize later.
Yes. We do cost-focused migrations and re-architecture to cut a bloated cloud bill while keeping reliability.
Yes. We help optimize cost and performance after the move and can provide ongoing DevOps support.
